A comissioned work for a coworker. Usually don’t draw tattoo designs, but I gave it a try and I like how it came out. I referenced pictures of Hibiscus flowers on Google and came up with what I thought would be a successful tattoo design. Hope you all like it.
Here’s a project I worked on for class that I’m very proud of. Everything is made in illustrator including the hand, plants, and faucet. I created a quick logo and found a catchy tag-line online to use just for the class. I really liked how it came out and thought I’d share.
Here is a whole brand identity I created myself for a solar power company called Helios. I am very proud of this certain brand identity because of how well it flows together. I will be starting to upload more of my Illustrator and InDesign works from now on.
I’ve been in serious need of new music lately, just thought I’d throw that out there (please give me recommendations). So this drawing/quick sketch/doodle in my sketchbook today is inspired by a scene in the finale of Shameless that I found breathtaking. I might, if I have the time, make this into a painting on a much larger scale. I just loved the scene and just wanted to see how it would look if I sketched it out.
So I had some free time tonight to create a quick drawing in my sketchbook of a twisted/gnarled tree. Not much to it, just something to pass the time. On a completely different note, I feel empty not having an episode of Shameless to watch tonight so any suggestions for TV shows would be much appreciated :)
I’m well into season 4 of Shameless and I love to doodle while watching. I’ll probably go ahead and finish it up tonight and will probably draw another picture while I’m at it so stay tuned and be sure to check back!
Another drawing inspired yet another TV show; this time True Detective. This masterful series inspired a lot of my drawings in that 8 week span the show aired. If you have not watched it, I would highly recommend watching the show, for Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey make a killer duo on screen. Definitely one of my top shows and I cannot wait to see what they do next. This drawing was inspired by a quote McConaughey’s character said.
It’s been quite a while, but I decided I’d start to update since I have the free time again. This was a quick sketch I did while I was binge watching House of Cards. I still have yet to finish the second season, but I will eventually get there!
Obviously referencing another picture, but I started watching One Piece again since I stopped (for some odd reason) at the CP9 Arc…Always wanted to try and draw this picture so here are a few progress shots. I’ll try updating again soon, but schoolwork is plenty and it’s keeping me very busy.
Who can guess this logo? Without saying too much, I’m making a tribute to something and will update you all more soon. I apologize for the lack of updates, I have been working a lot lately and have a wedding coming up this Sunday and Monday so there will be a gap between updates until Tuesday, I apologize!
Working on some other things at the moment and decided to do a quick 10 minute doodle before I head out to work. Everything was done free hand and I wanted to try and see how my circles were. I want to recreate this, but actually take time and put massive amounts of detail in it. I’ll post an update/progress shot of what I’ve been working on the past few days.

Pages 2 and 3 of my new Moleskine sketchbook and I’m actually very happy with how it came out. It was a pain in the ass to get an even black background but with patience, I got it using some Dixon Redisharp permanent marker and a black copic marker as well. I’m relaxing at home tonight so I might post another drawing and if not definitely a work in progress shot.
Finished up inking Joker and am currently brainstorming some ideas to flow into the other page. I have some ideas that I’m ready to throw down, just wanted to post an update. Will try and finish this tonight since I’m sick and got nothing better to do.
